About This Event:
LSS Green Belt training develops students into Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) leaders and problem solvers. Students at this level are capable of improving processes within their own area of the business and processes.
Following the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) methodology and statistical toolset, students learn to collect and analyze performance data, identify inefficiencies and problem areas, utilize root cause analysis, and apply improved processes to create change for their organization.
Upon completion of a final exam, students will also complete a project within their own workplace to obtain a RACE certification. Project completion will show waste removal, reduction of defects, increased on-time delivery, and/or achieve an additional predetermined performance goal.
