About This Event:
The Six Sigma Black Belt Workshop and Certification is comprised of four, one-week sessions over a four month period. Please see website for all dates included in this course offering.
Six Sigma Black Belts lead and manage complex projects that are focused on strategic and meaningful change. This requires an understanding of a broad range of topics and tools that underlie successful change efforts.
This Six Sigma certification workshop provides Black Belts with the skills, the knowledge, and the practical experience they will need to get results. Participants will learn and practice using Minitab statistical analysis software to support their use of data in driving decisions and actions for improvement. The in-depth workshop is delivered in four weeks over four consecutive months, and time between sessions is used by participants to apply what they are learning. The workshop structure centers on the five-step process improvement methodology, DMAIC and the concepts, tools and templates are presented within each step of the methodology.
This certification workshop is intended to create the foundation for change leaders to use as they escalate their commitment and contribution to their customers and to their organizations. Black Belt Certification requires passing the online Black Belt (BB) exam as well as the completion and review of two BB projects. This includes the development of skills to maximize opportunities for change using a range of leadership tools, job aids and conceptual models that can be applied on a daily basis.
