I realize that this topic has probably been risen several times, but here goes my question anyway.Currently I am a 2nd Generation lead Black Belt in a facility that has started the "Six Sigma Methodology, for becoming world class". The issue that arises is although the company is supportive of Six Sigma, the individual manangers are not. They would prefer that the black belts stay away from thier respective areas. What this boils down to is lack of projects, as the company has stated that all statements of work are to be written by the Process Owners (Managers). I am in a situation where I as a black belt am behind in my profit plan by over $200k, I have no projects in backlog, and I'm not currently working on anything. I have tried to do waste walks and sit and talk with the managers, but I still get no response. What do I do?
Frustration is building on my part. I may not even get certified due to the lack of projects. Message Thread: Return To Discussion ForumPost A New MessageRead the Forum Guide to Good Etiquette
