Tool Set for Improving Transactional Processes

I do believe that some of the other tools are useful. Time series analysis is a good tool to look for seasonality trends. Also a test of variance is a good tool to use as well. Example: If you are looking at the time it takes to complete a work order until the customer is invoiced if you only look at the average time of completion, it could appear to be better but still have variation that could be reduced. A control chart would be another good way to see out of control conditions. The JIT (just in time) method of training might be more effective than training with all of the material at once.
