My company has had various discussions on the calcuation of ppm, the current industry standard is a 6 dppm. We currently have a customer that reports a dppm of less than 2, however they continuously have sort teams at the end users facility. Should you calculate EVERY part defective or is there a secret to obtaining the goal of 6?
