Human Resources Doesn't Understand Six Sigma

I really don't understand why companies recruiting for key Six Sigma roles have their HR team do the 1st screening.  I've had HR people ask me questions that really indicate they don't understand the methodology. 

They also say they will get in touch with you over the next few days and then you never hear from them - absolutely no integrity (or guts).  An e-mail or letter would even suffice.

I agree that Human Resources is a vital role in a company; however, I'm seeing this type of nonsense more and more, and it's unacceptable from a professional standpoint. 

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated....
