Leadership and Lean Six Sigma

LeadershipIs leadership from the bottom-up better than top-down? How can employees convince and excite their leaders about the opportunities waiting for them with a Lean Six Sigma deployment?

I do not understand the comment “Leadership from the bottom up.” Almost every Discussion Forum string that touches on deployment success uses the excuse “Support form the leadership team/top executives.” Suddenly we want the leadership to come from the people who refuse to be accountable for their own succes because of lack of support from the top down?

Regardless of any initiatives claims the things that occur in a company are top down. The things that go on are those things that leadership staffs and funds.

Just my opinion.
