About The Author - Gary Cone

Gary Cone is a pioneer of Six Sigma through his work with Motorola from 1983 - 1991. Mr. Cone was responsible for Quality Systems, Six Sigma, and Cycle Time Reduction for Motorola's six automotive factories from 1987-1991, and has led the implementations of AlliedSignal Automotive, GenCorp, and Navistar. Gary was the founder of Six Sigma International.

Mr. Cone is currently President and CEO of Global Productivity Solutions (GPS), and is the teacher of more than 50 of the top consultants now in the Six Sigma field.
