MILWAUKEE - The American Society for Quality (ASQ) Six Sigma Forum will host its second Six Sigma Forum Roundtable October 10-11, 2002, in Fort Lauderdale, FL, at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66.

The roundtable is a face-to-face learning and networking opportunity, with registrations limited to 150. Top-level six sigma practitioners will address key topics of interest, such as transactional applications, sales and marketing, project selection, and lean manufacturing.

Presentations are by experts from organizations including GE, Raytheon, ServiceMaster, International Paper, and Bank of America, to name a few. On Wednesday, October 9, the Six Sigma Black Belt certification exam will be offered.

"The roundtable will allow the six sigma community to meet face-to-face, forge relationships, and benefit careers. Connecting people and knowledge, the roundtable is an extraordinary event," said Sheila Zelenski, ASQ's director of membership.

The cost of the roundtable for ASQ members and Six Sigma Forum members is $595 and $695 for nonmembers, for those who register prior to August 23, 2002. After August 23, the cost is $650 for ASQ members and Six Sigma Forum members and $750 for nonmembers. Registration is available online at www.asq.org by clicking "Conferences."

The 56-year-old organization advances individual, organizational, and community excellence worldwide through quality improvement, learning, and knowledge exchange.
