In 2004 with a background as a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt I co-founded a consulting company which focused on implementing continuous improvement programs into a variety of organizations. I sold my interest in this company in 2006. In 2007 I launched inLine Solutions as a technology company who provides learning management systems, a software solution to facilitate online training. That same year I started Open Source Six Sigma (OSSS) as a project to stay involved in the Lean Six Sigma Industry. Since its creation Open Source Six Sigma ( http://www.opensourcesixsigma.com ) has grown to become the industries #1 leading content provider and intellectual property licensor with 1000′s of customers. In addition, OSSS is now beginning to provide software solutions to a variety of companies with continuous improvement programs and is developing and growing this new offering. In 2009 I organized the creation of the International Association for Six Sigma Certification also known as IASSC ( http://www.iassc.org ) in order to bring certification best-practices to the Lean Six Sigma industry. IASSC offers the only true third-party certification and independent accreditation standards to Lean Six Sigma companies. Today IASSC provides high-stakes certification testing in more than 8, 000 testing centers in 165 countries around the world and it’s certifications and standards are rapidly being adopted by companies around the world. |
