Breakthrough Change: What It Means and Why It's Needed
Breakthrough. It sounds good. It even sounds like something everyone should support. The problem, however, comes when people are asked to define breakthrough. There is almost always a slight pause, or in some cases a long one, that says they are not certain what it means.

Interpreting Transformed Data
I have data which is not normally distributed, trying to assess process capability. After using Johnson Transformation, I output the transformed data into another column (C11) and use this transformed data to do the analysis. The problem now is that I am not sure how to interpret the results since the units are no longer the original units. How does one go back to the original units?

Curbing Health Disparities
Is it possible/feasible to apply Six Sigma to an already existing proposed method of eliminating/reducing the number of health disparities affecting African American women in today's society? I am a Ph.D. student trying to figure out if this will work and use it for my dissertation; to my knowledge it has never been done.

Addressing Employee Typos
I have a process where employees do data entry. It's a web-based data entry wherein they key from scanned images. They have to follow rules while keying the pre-designated fields. We do audits and our target quality is at 99.75%.
"The issue is with human errors like typos and omitting of fields that they were supposed to key. How do we address this issue? I am doing a Six Sigma project on improving the quality and I can't find any other root cause for typos other than carelessness.

Finding Confidence Levels
I'm trying to figure out how to calculate the Confidence Intervals for the level of accuracy for a certain process. I have scoured the net and found out how to calculate it, but I've been asked to also throw in the known population size. I know that it's not necessary to include this variable, but my boss is quite insistent that we use the entire population size. If anyone can provide a formula, that would be lovely!
