Analyzing Time-series Binary Data
I've got a set of time-series binary data I'd like to discover patterns in, and hopefully be able to develop a predictive model for. Not sure what is the best approach to analyzing, looking for some suggestions.

Understanding Supply-related Quality Costs
What are the types of supply-related quality costs? I can think of only inspection on incoming materials and plant visits. Are there any others? And how do I measure them? On average, what is the value of supply-related quality costs as a percentage of total material costs?

Simple Control Chart
Anyone have an Excel control chart? I want operators to be able to chart data in real time and be alerted when the process is going out of control. We have statistical analysis software, but it would be much easier for the operators not to have to enter data and then go through the series of clicks to generate the test.
