The iSixSigma directory is organized by category/subject. All listed sites are either suggested by users or compiled by our team of quality editors. If suggested by users, they are reviewed by our quality editors to ensure that iSixSigma is organized in the best possible manner -- making it easy to use, helpful and intuitive in finding information.
Please follow these three simple steps if you have a site (URL) you'd like to suggest:
Step 1: Check to See if Your Site is Already Listed in iSixSigma
This is an important first step, because if your site is already listed in iSixSigma you should not submit it again. Check by searching iSixSigma for your site by title, or by browsing appropriate categories.
Step 2: Find the Appropriate Category in iSixSigma
Start at the homepage and navigate to the most appropriate sub-category for your site. Remember that iSixSigma users visit each listed site, and proper categorization on your part helps us process suggestions quickly.
When you suggest your site, get as specific as possible. You can't submit your site to a top level category. If you suggest a link in a top level, or very broad category, you will almost certainly receive this page asking you to try again. Look at the place you've chosen. Are there any sites listed there? Or, does it simply break down into appropriate sub-categories? Dig deeper.
Step 3. Suggest your Site from the Appropriate Category
Suggest your site from the category you think most appropriate. Do this by clicking on the "Suggest a Site" link at the top of the category page. If you don't see the "Suggest A Site" link, you are most likely in an area of the directory that does not allow site suggestions.
When you click on "Suggest a Site" in the appropriate category, you'll see an online form asking for information about your site. iSixSigma distinguishes between commercial and non-commercial sites. If you're suggesting a site that is in any way commercial--it sells something, promotes goods and services, or promotes a company that sells goods and services--then the site belongs somewhere in the Consultants or Tools & Templates > Software sections of iSixSigma
In the "category" space on the form, you'll see the name of the category you've chosen. Please be prepared to provide, among other information, your site's title, URL, and a brief description.
Finally, thanks for the site, and thanks for contributing to iSixSigma. By following the above steps you're helping us process sites in a timely manner. The final description, approval and placement of your site is determined by iSixSigma editors.
