One simple way for a company to assign and balance Six Sigma roles and responsibilities is to use RACI analysis. RACI can help track what responsibility those with each different role in a process improvement project should have in each decision.
Unfortunately, too often as Black Belts go about leading a project, little effort is made in deciding who gets what in regard to information that is collected, measured and analyzed. This is where a RACI diagram can be a big help to a team leader.
