ASIAn countries ,specifically India seems lagging in LEAN Six Sigma. Opportunities to integrate Greening Infrastructure & Lean Six Sigma are plenty and will achive Great Synergy.Can we integrate Environmental Improvement efforts with Lean Six Sigma ? Any Innovative Ideas? |

Start with ISO 26000, the recently adopted International Organization for Standardization Guidance for Social Responsibility, then consider your organization’s value proposition and core values, and the 7 classic sources of waste as defined in lean thinking: 1. Overproduction The synergies between lean and green should become obvious. |

It will be appropriate if you state India lagging in Lean and Sigma. I do not think China and other Asia countries are slow in the lean sigma champaign. IBM proposed a new term “Green Sigma” years ago to intergrate Lean Sigma methodogy with green technology. |
