I received my Black Belt training through ASQ, 4 week program  that was not geared toward healthcare. ASQ now has a healthcare track. I completed my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification through the Harrington Institute of Quality and Project Management Institute. The program was geared toward healthcare.  I was a great prgram. The Harrington Institute also is offering a Master Black Belt Program geared toward Healthcare.

With all due respect, do those organizations have any Healthcare quality credentials?  Are they supported or recognized by Joint Commission, UHC, Patient Safety organization, etc. or are they affiliated with a teaching medical institution?  or is it just a new income source for them?
