    how to make control impact matrix to segregate the vital Xs from many Xs dertermined through brainstorming session in Analyse phase. kindly tell me the step wise procedue

    Let me know your email and I will send you a failure mode matrix I have developed which is really useful on the shopfloor. I am sure it can be developed/adapted for what you want.

    First do a fish bone based on your pareto chart and then go to the control impact matrix with a brain storming session with your team members its basically to find group the x’s as high control high impact,high control low impact,low control high impact , low control low impact. If you have the data then you can go for Hypothesis testing.
