I wanted to know if anyone is aware of an exercise for a group to do online for processing improvement similiar to the classroom exercises of the mailing of the packages and/or the passing of the balls. My entire group works from home. Any suggestions would help. |

@daugh2ter My company is located in multiple sites. I have facilitated remote training sessions via teleconferencing/web technology that have been very successful. You can e-mail instructions, templates and other work items to your remote colleagues ahead of time and then, in real time on the phone and the web, simulate a chain of activities comprising a process you want to improve. Imagination is the only limit to what process you choose to simulate. |

Carmen @daugh2ter, Can you clarify: I get that you want your group to learn the same lessons as they would in the traditional classroom exercise, but do you want them to work separately or together on an exercise? Steve assumes that latter, but I am not sure from your post if that is what you meant. Can you share more about how you would want to run this? How much time it should take? What are you looking for as the output of the exercise? I can think of a couple of ideas for you based on your responses. |

@daugh2ter Check out what is available through Moresteam. I am not an expert in all their products and they are constantly innovating what they can delive on line. We used a modified simulation of theirs in several of the Sigma Bowl competitions and it worked well. They have a group project/exercise called Sigma Brew that can be challenging. Just my opinion. |
