| David Macdonald @David-Macdonald Reputation - 0 Rank - Aluminum | RS1 was available as RS Discover about 4 years ago in the UK. It’s marketed by Bolt Beranek and Newman (BBN) who incidentally are the Company that disproved the Lone Gunman theory in the Kennedy Assassination by analysing Police radio calls(!) |

| John Noguera @John-Noguera Reputation - 0 Rank - Aluminum | Sorry David – you are way behind. BBN spun off RS/Series to Domain, who then sold off to Brooks Automation. (I was president of the BBN Users Group for a while). RS/1 was a great product and it was an industry standard, but they failed to listen to the Voice of the Customer. They lost Motorola, Intel, Dupont, etc. Minitab and JMP are the predominant choices in industry today. |
