Glass products maker Viracon Inc. recently announced that three of its employees – Bethany Stringer, Matt Jukkala and Mike Smith – have earned Six Sigma Black Belt certification and will support continuous improvement efforts for both manufacturing and transactional processes at the Owatonna, Minn., USA, company.

Stringer has been with Viracon since August 2008 and previously worked as an inside sales associate. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in business administration. Jukkala also joined Viracon in August 2008 as a coatings supervisor. Prior to joining Viracon, he worked as an engineers officer in the military. He holds a bachelor of science in mathematics.

Smith started with Viracon as a management trainee in January 2008. Prior to joining Viracon, he was a captain in the U.S. Army. He holds a bachelor of science degree in sociology and criminology from Kansas State University.
