I know this may seem somewhat self-evident, but have you considered doing a simple literature review to answer your own question?  So much is out there on the Internet – the available information is like water drops in a world-wide rainstorm.  At this point in the life cycle of Six Sigma, a great many people have applied the tools and concepts.  In fact, a large portion of these individuals has taken the time to document their work and share it with the rest of us.  All you have to do is plug in a few key words – then watch the world unfold before your very eyes.  What I can tell you is a mere drop in the bucket next to what a on-line literature search can reveal to you.
