Description

We are looking a Business Improvement Advisor to provide support, training and coaching in the embedding of business improvement initiatives and Lean culture whilst participating in six sigma breakthrough projects.

This is a great opportunity to use specialized techniques and methodologies to identify the business’ full potential and improvement opportunities and support the resulting improvement initiatives.

Reporting to the Manager- Business Improvement- Minerals and working in challenging and exciting environment, within Business Improvement, you will be:

  • Assisting in the development and deployment of business improvement method and tools, in line with the business improvement strategy/plan
  • Participating and leading audits of improvement/LEAN adoption across the business
  • Interfacing with various departments on Information Centers, 5S boards, and other business improvement activities
  • Supporting compliance with standardized processes, systems and tools
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement projects and support/develop effective project scopes
  • Developing and maintains effective relationships with leaders and employees
  • Providing technical support to project stakeholders
  • Delivering training for business improvement tools and methodologies using training standards and material

What you’ll bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, process improvement, LEAN-Six Sigma Black Belt certification or in a similar role;
  • Experience in project leadership, change management and cross functional leadership team;
  • Excellent communication and active-listening skills;
  • Ability to present to a variety of groups;
  • Highly effective organizational, time management and analytical skills;
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Power BI
  • Demonstrated ability to develop clear and concise reports;
  • A strong safety mindset.
