The Principal, Electric Business Operations, Performance Management is responsible for leading the following activities:
Development and reporting of Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP) and Enterprise Business Plan Review (BPR) metrics – work with business partners to identify appropriate measures, document key metric information, collaborate with business partners to automate reporting, and brief executives on performance
Coordination and facilitation of the weekly Electric Operations SVP Operational Review meeting with the executive team
Implementation of the wholistic performance management approach that goes beyond metric reporting and focuses on identifying adverse trends, working with subject matter experts to understand cause, implementing corrective actions to address the cause and monitoring performance to determine if corrective actions positively impacted performance
Presentation of meaningful analytics to Electric Operations leadership using thoughtful approaches that provide clarity and visibility, add valuable insight, and drive data informed decision making
Continuous improvement efforts around data reporting and analytics to improve efficiency across the organization as well as the value and insight that work products provide to leadership
Provide ad-hoc analytics and presentations
The successful candidate will help Electric Operations and PG&E attain its goals by leveraging one's exceptional communication, technical, analytical, statistical and strategic skills, while applying one's highest work ethic and commitment to improvement.


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business administration or comparable quantitative field or equivalent related work experience.
8 years of relevant work experience, with steady progression of responsibilities

Desired Qualifications:
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau and SQL
Master's degree in engineering, economics, business administration or other quantitative field
Experience shaping complex data into meaningful presentations for effective communication at various levels of the organization
Excellent communication ability including experience driving change via influencing skills
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
2+ years utility experience
Flexibility and adaptability to changing business conditions and ambiguity
