This analytical role is responsible for the constant review of manufacturing processes to identify Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities that will result in increased efficiency, cost savings, or Customer satisfaction through measurable KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). This position will also require the use of advanced Six-Sigma tools (DMAIC), 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Process FMEA, etc... as the foundation for each of the projects.

The selected candidate will need to have superior communication / presentation skills and the ability to facilitate cross-functional teams from project concept through execution. Excellent coaching skills to sponsor others in lower lever Green belt projects is also required.

The successful candidate will understand project management techniques to ensure projects are: on time, within budget, and meet project scope. This role will report directly to the Director of Quality Assurance.

Essential Functions:

Work with management to identify new process improvement opportunities in the areas of quality, cost, performance, and preventive and predictive maintenance.

Analyze and identify opportunities to reduce process variation, improve process capabilities and optimize process performance.

Evaluate and analyze current process metrics and performance to identify areas requiring improvements.

May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

· 5 Years of experience successfully managing CI projects

· Six- Sigma Certification (Black Belt)

· Excellent Communication, Presentation, and leadership skills

· Statistical analysis experience (Minitab)
