Description
In this role, you will determine the policy for the logistics department of the Business Group. You will also manage an integral logistics department via a very large number of department managers as well as formulating the strategic long-term logistics policy, considering all of the relevant factors for integrated management.
You are responsible for
- Developing and executing a winning Integrated Warehouse and Distribution (IWD) Strategy & Roadmap
- Aligning the IWD and Philips Priorities with focus on Services Excellence and Strategic Partnerships
- Understand the Market/Business/Function needs and applications
- Apply technology / customer use / market / competitive trends
- Define propositions and innovations that create new product / service / solutions
- Drive robust operations in line with SLAs and KPIs set while ensuring high stakeholders' satisfaction
- Build mindset of KPI management and LEAN Leadership by systematically enabling continuous improvement.
- Drive the E2E process integration, standardization, value chain creation while meeting and beating productivity targets
- Ensure that the total IWD cost meet annual operating plan (AOP)
- Ensure strict Quality & Regulatory compliance
- Provide strategic direction and develop a team to delivering IWD services globally
- Develop new service offerings to support Markets in order to improve their service capabilities to end customers
- Continuous strengthening of high performance culture & employee experience, ensuring good engagement of the team and good talent retention
- Build the Philips/ IWD awareness to create a strong value proposition
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Master’s degree preferred with 15+ years of related experience
- 15+ years of warehousing and distribution experience and experience in direct P&L management
- Experience with customs handling, outsourcing/ vendor management Services and 3PL management
- Relevant experience in Health Care Supply Chain, Logistics, Import/Export, Warehousing and Distribution Management
- Experience with managing under Service Level Agreement (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and performance metrics and monitoring for in scope activities
- Experience in managing large projects/programs in complex organizations and/or environments
- Strong leadership skills to lead and manage globally culturally diverse teams across geographies
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proven track record in change management, and managing continuous improvement (LEAN, Six Sigma) and business transformation programs
- Good business acumen with ability to synthesize creative solutions and consulting capability
