At Cepheid, we are looking for the Innovation DBS Leader to promote and be responsible for the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System within Cepheid R&D organizations. You will have a proven track record of efficient utilization of the DBS tools.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Innovation DBSL and is responsible for enabling growth through the implementation of DBS methodologies, improving creative capacity, and establishing the growth of both individuals and the organization. The Innovation DBS Leader works within a multi-functional environment while driving continuous improvement in the innovation metrics. The tone you set will encourage collaboration that values the equity of voice, inclusion, and believing in teams are the integral parts of the DBS Fundamentals across the organization. Essential job responsibilities:
We see leading and facilitating the development and management of DBS fundamentals across the Engineering organization to achieve annual targets, department-level goals, and project level KPI’s. This includes the installation and consistent use of daily management (DM) and problem-solving processes (PSP).
Act as an impetus for innovation processes, infrastructure, and leadership behaviors that promote and support improving the creative capacity of the organization via DBS training and facilitation (DBS, Lean Six Sigma, TPS, etc.).
Drive progression of candidates through a DBS Certified Practitioner (CP) funnel to build organization muscle and capability across the domains within DBS while establishing Danaher and Cepheid standard methodologies, standardize, and install such benchmarks across departments, organizations, and global sites. Education and Experience (in years):
BS degree with 12+ years of experience; or MS degree with 8+years of experience in science or engineering related field as a practitioner with DBS or experience in a continuous improvement environment (DBS, Lean Six Sigma, TPS, etc.).
