    Description

    Responsible for managing cross-functional terms engaged in continuous improvement activities of the company using standard methods for value creation and waste elimination in accordance with industry standard strategic deployments of Lean and Six Sigma.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Responsible for managing cross-functional teams engaged in continuous improvement activities of the company using standard methods for value creation and waste elimination in accordance with industry standard strategic deployments of Lean and Six Sigma
    • Responsible for communicating and using the Lean and Six Sigma tools
    • Advise, coach, and mentor cross-functional teams and other personnel in continuous improvement and problem solving
    • Lead cross-functional teams in defining and scoping charters for continuous improvement projects
    • Communicate clearly (written and oral) with customers, people and partners
    • Lead and manage the work of others as assigned
    • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
    • Attend appropriate customer or business meetings
    • May direct all continuous improvement personnel

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 5 years experience focused in Lean Practice and Problem Solving
    • Certification is desirable, e.g. ASQ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and/or Professional Engineering License or Registration
    • Ability to manage cross-functional teams independently

    • Lifting, Walking, Climbing, Bending, Sitting, Standing, Stooping and Kneeling

    Work Conditions

    • Office
    • Travel less than 10%
