Raytheon Technologies Global Enterprise Services (GES) has an opening for a Facilities Manager III position. The Facilities Manager will oversee multiple sites within the Goleta, CA region. Ensures execution of all facilities, maintenance and infrastructure activities to provide a safe, well-functioning and pleasing work environment. Develops and executes a strategic vision for the sites to meet operational growth of the business. Sets priorities and allocates necessary resources to complete preventative and corrective maintenance tasks. Builds and maintains good relationships with community and regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate will need to be focused on leading & developing a dynamitic team

Job Description:

  • Lead Managers who are responsible for day to day activities for the site including the Planning, Design/Engineering, Project Management and Maintenance teams
  • Negotiate with customers and stakeholders to meet their requirements and the needs of the organizations
  • Partner with leadership, customers, stakeholders and team to create executable plans, schedules and budgets
  • Ensure organizations goals and initiatives are met
  • Responsible for financial and Capital/Expense processes
  • Manage, identify, hire, develop coach and recognize staff including talent assessment, needs analysis and development

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 10+ years related work experience in a facility-operations leadership role
  • Experience with the following: facilities design, construction, planning, and maintenance including specific experience in design/construction/maintenance of ISO Class 5 - 9 clean rooms (ECAs)
  • Experience with budget planning, forecasting, scheduling, and execution
  • Ability to create and develop strategic and tactical plans to support business objectives and Real Estates initiatives
  • Successful track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partner and direct reports
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels and manage competing/conflicting stakeholder priorities
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to meet deadlines prioritize multiple completing requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • This position requires the eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization

Desired Skills:

  • Six Sigma Certified
  • Experience with semiconductor/clean-room standards and associated infrastructure support and monitoring systems
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes
  • Experience with lean / agile / flexible philosophies and techniques
  • Experience with government secured facilities
  • Proven leadership skills and behaviors
  • Technical understanding in managing mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems along with general maintenance of facilities and grounds
  • Knowledge of Facilities best practices standards and methodologies
  • Ability to establish and maintain highly effective internal and external working relationships
  • Professional certifications/memberships within Facilities Management and/or within their field of study
  • Experience with large project management skills

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Facilities, Construction, Operations, Engineering or related discipline
