    Key Responsibilities:

    • Be a process champion and pro-actively lead people, content and planning of the improvement projects
    • Ability to process map effectively
    • Translate business problems related to processes and tools into workable programs that deliver results
    • Deliver hands-on training and support of the improvement project content
    • Embed business improvement structure on product, process and organizational levels
    • Perform data analysis to substantiate findings, opportunities, improvements and solutions
    • Report findings and progress to leadership team
    • Translate requirements to and engage in ERP changes necessary for improvements
    • Strong interface with Vanderlande global manufacturing and operational excellence team
    • Strong interface with Toyota Industries Corporation’s continuous improvement team


    • Strong penchant towards building repeatable processes and programs that exceed both internal and external customer expectations
    • Proven leader with extensive ability to build solid and collaborative relationships with team members which fosters a contagiously productive team environment
    • Strong data analytics capabilities with strong emphasis on cost analysis and internal/external benchmarking
    • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable technical field (STEM), Masters preferred
    • Fluency in both written and spoken English
    • Working experience in Warehouse / Parcel or Airport conveyance systems preferred
    • 10+ year’s experience in Process Excellence and Continuous Improvement such as Lean Six Sigma, Toyota Lean Management System or equal
    • Visual Management experience preferred
    • Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
    • ERP experience – SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards preferred
    • Advanced in Visio and Excel

    • Ability to manage complex improvement projects (technical & organizational)
    • Ability to manage a program with a portfolio of independent projects simultaneously


    • This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.
