Process Engineer

We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the biotechnology industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Process Engineer to their team. Responsibilities include:

1) Conduct and participate in incident investigations, including root cause analysis and coordinate execution of action items and continuous improvement activities

2) Participate in environment, health and safety activities as a member of operations leadership

3) Lead continuous process improvement through collaboration with other company personnel

4) Review and analyze daily operations and trends

5) Troubleshoot operating equipments

6) Review and create operating procedures and ensure that documentation complies with established ISO standards

7) Identify, process map, analyze and execute impact projects using lean and six sigma tools that result in significant process improvements

8) Improve manufacturing efficiency

9) Perform tests throughout stages of production to determine degree of control over variables

10) Perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements to improve Manufacturing Engineering Department communication, error reduction and process flow

11) Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact

12) Identify and assist in the development and execution of capital projects to facilitate improvements and improve reliability, reduce fixed costs and enhance safety

Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the biotechnology industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in process engineering
