Description
- Position will be understaffed at a PIC I (level one) in a training capacity until a State of Nebraska Green Belt Certification is attained and the incumbent has been successful in the PIC I role. Green Belt Certification is expected to be completed within the first year and then the incumbent will receive a promotion to PIC II (level two) along with a pay increase to $26.670/hour and will become exempt from overtime compensation.
- Positions will be filled within the following agencies: 1-Department of Labor, 1-Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and 1-DMV/Natural Resources). Incumbent will be housed within assigned agency and work with all levels of the organization to identify and help improve areas of opportunity. This person will serve as a catalyst for change by collaborating and influencing others. Help us utilize our team and assets to the best of their abilities!
Coordinate and collaborate with all levels of the organization to identify and facilitate process improvement initiatives.
Coach, educate and mentor staff to better understand process improvement tools and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to foster an improvement focused culture.
Responsible for collecting, aggregating and analyzing data to calculate Return on Investment (ROI) and create action plans.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development, leadership, social and behavioral science, communication, or related fields and at least three years of experience in management, operational, or process improvement. Experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
PREFERRED: Master's degree in business administration or management, organizational development, leadership, social science or communication. Experience in leading/facilitating groups, data analytics, public speaking, project management, organizational skills, training, promotes teamwork and demonstrates natural leadership skills, excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
OTHER: Regular and reliable attendance is required in this position.
