CIB Global Solutions Program Office (GSPO) is currently seeking a Strategy Consultant to work with businesses across CIB to identify global delivery opportunities and lead the implementation of the Global Delivery Activity across regions. This role will work closely with the CIB business partners, Global Delivery team, India and Philippines Delivery leaders/teams, and CIB support partners. Due to the nature of the business support model, this role requires frequent interaction with senior leaders to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the various business lines and the CIB GSPO team. This role reports into the Head of CIB Global Solutions Program Office (GSPO)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior level consulting expertise to internal business partners, in alignment with the Wells Fargo enterprise-wide business strategy
  • Engage executive and senior leaders, other stakeholders and support groups to develop and execute strategic plans that support designated business drivers
  • Evaluate and obtain approval of identified opportunities, requirements and coordination of related resources to drive a successful implementation
  • Ensure appropriate governance is followed during global sourcing assessment phase and all global delivery activities adhere to the Global Delivery Activity Policy
  • Provides leadership in the identification of strategic business, investment and alliance opportunities; evaluation and approval process of identified opportunities; identification and implementation of requirements and communication of strategy and related business plans to management
  • Serve as point of contact for business leaders throughout development, execution of initiatives and steady state management
  • Identify, develop and evaluate performance improvement opportunities from a global workforce delivery
  • Track, and report on the status of global sourcing initiatives to CIB business leaders and CIB GSPO Lead to ensure goals are being achieved
  • Work with support partners and CIB leadership, develop rigor regarding transition reporting, including, but not limited to, development and tracking of milestones/SLAs, rework tasks, PCATS data accuracy, risk/legal issues/approvals, CIB GSPO accomplishments, and other factors impacting successful transitions
  • Monitor and report on transition progress, risk management and establish standardized practices and best practice sharing
  • Support the development and review of service level agreements, statements of work and other supporting contract documentation
  • Partner with LOB, WF India and Philippine (I&P) and Third Party stakeholders to monitor activities in Steady State
  • Support CIB wide transformation initiatives over and above GSPO responsibilities
  • Display flexibility to maneuver multiple roles from Global delivery, transformation, Automation & process efficiency as per the business need

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of strategic planning experience

Other Desired Qualifications

  • International operations and commercial lending experience
  • Experience in Global Delivery Processes, specifically within a Corporate & Investment Banking environment
  • Previous risk and/or compliance experience, including the establishment and maintenance of risk controls
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized individual
  • Understanding of internal WF tools (PCATS, AMS)
  • Previous experience driving the adoption of enterprise processes
  • Lean or Six Sigma Certification
  • Familiarity with Wells Fargo's global sourcing strategy and activities
