ROLE CTQs:

  • Must have either a background in Supply Chain Management, Fulfillment or Warehouse Operations
  • Must have a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or similar certification
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% Regionally
  • Must have strong knowledge of Six Sigma tools and their basic statistical principles
  • Must have a strong background in facilitating Kaizen events
  • Must be able to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship
  • Experience with Minitab a plus

Our client is a privately held billion-dollar company that is growing its Lean Sigma Operational Excellence initiative and seeks Lean Sigma talent.

 

Position Description and Responsibilities:

This is a key position within our client's Lean Sigma Operational Excellence program, supporting both corporate and regional improvement initiatives, reporting directly to the Director of Lean Six Sigma. This position will require an experienced Lean Six Sigma leader with broad business acumen. This position requires a leader that can facilitate and drive change in a fast-paced and “ever-changing” environment leveraging his/her strong interpersonal skills. The key to success in this position is the ability to work within the organization at all levels creating value and buy-in as change facilitator for the region’s Lean Six Sigma transformation.

  • This position will be responsible for facilitating Lean Six Sigma initiative regionally.
  • This position will provide mentoring / training to all levels of the organization on the use and practice of Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools within the region.
  • Partner with senior-level management to assess current processes and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • This position will have responsibility for planning and assisting in the execution of various Lean Six Sigma transformation events and projects targeted towards improving the business’s performance
  • This position will deliver significant and quantifiable process improvement and financial benefit across the region.
  • This position will focus on business performance that constantly strives to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and increase market share via the use of Lean Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • This position will act as a key driver of Culture change within the region
  • Develop partnerships with other Lean Six Sigma Leaders across the entire company to share best practices.

 

Position Critical to Quality + Success (CTQ+S): Technical Behavioral Requirements:

  • BS Degree from an accredited college/university, MBA a plus
  • 8+ years of professional work experience with a minimum of 3+ years of Lean Six Sigma experience.
  • Minimum of 3 to 6 years experience in Lean Sigma organizations in the areas of supply chain, distribution, warehousing, and/or other related industry. (Preferred 5+ year experience in warehousing, logistics, and/or distribution industry)
  • Minimum Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Formal Lean training and experience with Value Stream Management tools, kaizen methods, and other key Lean tools and methodologies.
