    After you have grouped the procedures as per the complexity, standardized the template, do a quick pilot to baseline the procedure writing time across complexity. Set your requirements spec. limits to average 0.6hrs/page.
    One of the tool I found handy was to use visual tools like Capability dashboards/individual which would display individual capability/throughput and drive staff to achieve the targets.

    I appriciate your good gestures.
    I asked the reason why six sigma hy not some other value sigma? but I couldn’t get the right answer so far.
    I need to know the theory behind this, also obviously as you go ( i mean you increase sigma) your decreasing the defects or non confomities. but why we stuck at SS level? why not some other value of sigma?

    Dear,
    I think I have been misunderstood, what I meant to say was that …I wanna know the statisticl explaination of six sigma theory.
    I know that would a very naive question but since I’m a biggner & I have to start somewhere. so please guys don’t mind.

    Dear Jeff,
    Can u help me on this situation,
     A part is not to exceed a failure rate of 3.4 failures in one million we have to find the sample size needed for a hypothesis test of the equality of this failure rate to a 3.4 ppm failure. Risks give is of 0.05 and an uncertainty of +- 10% of the failure rate target

    Yeah it may seems to be that but these are masked situation explaining real life situation at one electronics manufacturing set up.
    Please give your comments if possible illustatrating the way to approach them.
