last time we spoke (via mail, u gave me a short sharp ppt on lss) you were not too happy with lockheed martins LSS prog (i will be going under training for GB n BB in 2007). Is there anything you reckon i should be aware of?

with regards to maths, you can not do that type of rounding.

perhaps, in your call center, you are not able to provide the answers the customer wants at that particular time therefore you might ring them later to brief/update them.
That “call” is work in progress and that might be construed as inventory. Dont know.. just a thought

agree. my GB and BB training is now scheduled. I have participated in 4 Lean/6 sigma projects and I have realised that both complement each other very well. I like speed n quality.

looking at the data and the process I cant help to feel a bit suspicious..you can call it rework but I think there may be some “test into compliance” issue here. 1,04 is the specification and it seems that the process limit is bang on on the spec.

I am using standard control charts and histograms. I have made no attempt to transform the data. I am trying to stick to the basics.

1- It is a production type process. I would expect data to be normal. I believe the data follows weibull dist because most values are “squashed” against upper spec limit.
2- I have about 50 datapoints. (as much as I can possibly get in 1 year)
