MN replied to the topic Six sigma and IT implementations in the forum Software/IT 17 years, 2 months ago
Thank you McD,

It is not about finding the causes to the problem of expensive implementations, because that is something they think they already kn…[Read more] -
MN replied to the topic Typical sigma score in the forum General 18 years, 7 months ago
Most average Companies are operating ca.3 Sigma level.Successful exporting companies can exceed this level and operate at 3,5-4,5 Sigma level. Some few International Companies (such as Motorola,GE,IBM,TOYOTA…etc) operate above 4,5 and sometimes exceed 5 Sigma. My opinion based on my experience and readings. Let us define con…[Read more] -

MN replied to the topic Is VOC killing innovation? in the forum General 18 years, 7 months ago
It depends,if we try to apply new generation instead of traditional concepts,in that case VOC can support Innovation. We may adopt QFD,Customer/Supplier “audits”,Data Mining ,Cusomer Scorecards…etcinstead of the old methods (surveys, focus groups, interviews…etc) ,this how we can enhance Innovation (I suggest). Just my humble opinion, regards. MN
