    Best regards,

  • Thank you very much, Michael. Your answer makes me clear one step. You point me to concentrate in the intended function(s) of system or process that I’m studing. But I have still got few questions,
    1. Are you mean to adapt the QFD method to interested system or process, right?
    2. How can I know the factor that I have investigated, it is the c…[Read more]

  • Hi Craig,My opinion, every quality methodology in the world will dead in finally. It seems to be the popular models that someone used and success, he will tell you that are the good way. In reality, when one methodology is apart, new one will popular. You cannot judge what is a finally about improvement? Therefore when you implement quality line…[Read more]

    Gabriel,
You correct! I forgot to thinking about additive of variance. I understood when we assume the standard deviation of our process is as 1 (St=1), and we know the minimum Cp value that our acceptable should be 1.33. That means a width of tolerance as 8 (8/6= 1.33). * This is allow for 1Sigma process’s mean shift because of no one can…[Read more]

    Gabriel,
I would be appriated if you please to explain me about some matter in your discussion: “Cp of 1.5 with a r&R of 10%, the Cp without the measurement influence (proces alone) would be about 1.53”. Because of in my opinion, if Cp 1.5 with R&R 10%, the Cp without the measurement influence should be 1.66.
    Please kindly advise. Thank you.
