I am an expert in improving manufacturing, manufacturing support and organizational operations and processes using an eclectic blend of tools and philosophies. My professional experience includes successful leadership in a diverse range of industries, which include: automotive; wood products; metals (aluminum); electronics; military; printing and non-profit.
I am passionate about Organizational Architecture, which deals with the effective integration of leadership; people; technology; systems; and resources that result in achieving world-class performance results. My specialty is leading organizations of all sizes through the process of “change” that entails: organizational assessments; strategic planning and execution; operational improvement; process and procedural improvements; and bringing together “effective leadership and people” into the process of change for long-term sustainment and success.
My ability to be effective in a wide range of functions is demonstrated by the following results:
* Over 45 organizational assessments.
* Achieving an average of $4,000,000 in annual kaizen improvements consistently over several years. Technical project cost savings from $100,000 to $100,000,000.
* Successfully leading projects that ranged in scope from $100,000 to $140,000,000 and involved areas such as: manufacturing operations; technological innovation to existing processes; Training, HR and Quality systems; Safety and Environmental management; transactional systems (support areas such as, Accounting, Purchasing, Engineering, Administrative, New Product Launches; Logistics; Strategic Planning and Execution).
* Designing, planning, and implementing Lean Enterprise and Six Sigma methodologies from shop floor through executive levels. This included designing training programs and conducting “real world” training of the various tools/concepts and applications that are needed to applying the learning in practical and “real world” situations.
