I am an arts writer. I write newspaper reviews and features and have written, edited and/or translated for nearly 100 books of music. I also write non-arts stories for various magazines in the U.S. See below for a list of publications.

Revision and updates of Stanley Green’s Hollywood Musicals Year by Year. Historical notes, preface copy and/or translations for numerous music books published by Hal Leonard, Schirmer and Ricordi, covering classical, popular, theatrical and world music.

Host, script-writer and/or photo/footage researcher for more than 20 Milwaukee Public Television broadcasts, most presenting the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Skylight Opera Theatre or Milwaukee Ballet.

Stringer, writing music, theater and dance reviews as well as feature and travel pieces, for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel since 1995; the Milwaukee Sentinel from 1993 – 1995; The Hamilton Spectator from 1992-1993. Internship with the Detroit News.

I played the flute and piccolo and sang for a living for more than a decade, traveling throughout the U.S. and internationally and working with numerous New York musical ensembles and theater productions.

I worked as a costumer for several costume houses and repertory companies and properties mistress for several companies.
