      You can’t motivate anyone. But you can create the environment where they are more likely to be influenced. I recommend that you start with a small “win” and demonstrate that Lean is really about allowing people to work smarter, not harder. But, skeptics will not believe it until they see it.     With the disbandment of the LSS team at Xerox, what deciding factor assisted in this decision? Was it budget cuts or does the company feel it can no longer improve their processes with the LSS team help?
