    @DavidTran,

    I suggest you reach out to Minitab technical support, they can help you understand the formulas/methods used in the software. +1-814-231-2682

    I am not familiar with the Nokia approach, and I think a good starting point is for you to understand what Minitab does for Gage studies.

    Hello Tino,

    To answer your question, you can do this in Minitab Statistical Software. Go to Stat-DOE-Factorial-Create Factorial Design. Choose General Full Factorial, then when you select Design you can specify the number of levels for the different factors.

    Minitab Technical Support is available to answer questions like this- https://www.minitab.com/en-us/contact-us/

    Hi, Chris is correct- in the Limits area of the dialog the first tab is Parameters- you can enter a historical mean and standard deviation there.

    @MBBinWI- you are also correct. :)
    @cseider- let’s catch up soon.

    Are you asking to move the sample proportions? If yes, you can store the ‘Point Plotted’ in the worksheet.

    In general, this type of question is better suited for Minitab technical support- because the answer might depend on version number, and they are pretty good at answering questions about the software. http://www.minitab.com/en-us/support/

    @Mike-Carnell
    Thanks for the kind words Mike! Even though my work is different now, I hope you’ll still reach out to me for those rare instances when you aren’t sure of an answer. It’s not like Minitab put me back in the vault for awhile like they do with those Disney movies. @cseider, yes, I know it’s been a month since your email….I promise to catch up this week.
