Benchmark material is not all that great compared to ASQ or ISI. they do not cover in detail non paramatric tests, DOE, and many more

I think you shud try with Indian Statistical Institute, they have very gud six sigma training. short programs are available i think for Rs.35k.

Why dont you do a big Y exercise with your team members and identify a project..
btw please dont do a six sigma project just because you want to do one..is there really a need to do a project??is there a pain area??this is my personal opinion..

I am currently doing a project on optimizing usage of software which is measured by hours of software usage. The key learning has been that the software licensed application cost so-much money and are used less than 10 minutes / day. The change management process also does not take care of deleting application but continue installing new ones.
