Bala leads Genpact reengineering initiatives to deliver productivity improvements and business impact to the company’s global customers. A seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in Process Excellence (Lean Six Sigma), Logistics, Sales & Operations, Bala served as Quality Leader for GE Commercial Finance and GE Equipment Services between 2002 and 2006. There, he mentored 20 large growth-oriented Six Sigma projects that produced some $2 billion incremental sales volume, and added roughly $50 million in net income. As a member of the Genpact launch team, Bala spent 4-plus years at its inception in various functions before becoming GE India’s Quality Leader. Before that, he worked for over nine years as an electrical engineer with the Indian joint venture of the Xerox Corporation. Bala holds a B.A. in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune, in India and is based out of Stamford, CT, USA. The Global Reengineering team he leads is embedded at customer sites on every continental, except Antarctica.
