Biography

Todd is the CEO of Integral Performance Solutions (IPS), a management consulting, coaching and training firm that bases its practices on Integral Theory. Todd has served for over 10 years as Adjunct Undergraduate and Graduate Faculty at Western Carolina University. Finally, Todd has over 10 years of experience as a part-time Lean Six Sigma Instructor for North Carolina State University.

As a Six Sigma Master Black Belt (SSMBB), Todd has over 20 years of experience helping individuals, teams and organizations conquer their toughest challenges and realize their most ambitious goals.  During this time, not only has he gained enormous experience in change management and leadership, but he has immersed himself in the study of the methods, techniques and theories that can help move Six Sigma to the next-level. He is an experienced Six Sigma Instructor who has taught and mentored Six Sigma students throughout both the United States and Canada.

Todd’s formal education includes, an Associate of Sciences degree, bachelor’s degree in business administration, master’s degrees in both Business and Healthcare Administration and is currently a doctoral candidate working to complete a Doctorate in Organizational Systems.

Todd’s current research centers around the creation of a pre-engagement diagnosis instrument to for matching individuals to change effort based on stage of reasoning complexity. Todd has been involved in numerous national projects and organizations, including serving as the Past President of the National EMS Management Association, and Faculty Member for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Quality Management Initiative, and member of the recent NHTSA EMS Compass project. Todd is a member of the Society for Research in Adult Development, the North Carolina Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychologist, and is a senior member of the American Society for Quality. Finally, Todd is a contributing author to the second edition of the National EMS Physician Association’s, “Improving Quality in EMS.”
