Victoria Adams

Throughout my career in healthcare I’ve held multiple leadership positions in supply chain operations, working closely with the operating room and labs, as well as continuously improving supply chain processes to optimize efficiency and costs. Since 2013 I’ve worked full time in process improvement obtaining my black belt certification in 2014. Leading black belt level DMAIC projects across an academic medical center setting, coaching students, and teaching and developing process improvement curricula are all part of my current role. I’ve led many project teams in solving problems. These include reducing hospital acquired conditions, improving patient registration, and designing a procedure to reprocess N95 respirators.  I’ve coached senior leaders in strategy deployment, created value stream maps to understand current state and identify opportunities for improvement, and led teams in 5S  implementation. I especially enjoy collaborating with my PI colleagues to solve problems, reduce waste, and create value for patients and staff.

In my personal life I’m a passionate nature photographer, and enjoy traveling North America in my RV, camping and capturing moments in nature that evoke emotion in the viewer.
