Hello all, I am currently a newbie in the six sigma methodology.  I have just recently started to read up on the topic quite a bit, and am a bit confused about the +- 1.5 sigma shift.  What does this mean?  I know that operations will shift 1.5 sigmas during its lifetime, but how is this handled?  Is this something that would need correcting over time, that is, do we, after the +1.5 sigma shift, need to adjust the process and make it go back -1.5 sigma to get it back to the correct sigma level?  Kind of confused, any help would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Hey Tim, thanks for the link, I guess I could have done that myself, sorry.  But thanks again.
