    iSixSigma Community,
Since we are getting to the time when people send Christmas cards please consider doing this.
This Christmas, please take the time to address one of your Christmas cards to the address below.  If you pass this e-mail to everyone you know, just think of all the cards and well wishes our recovering soldiers will receive at Christmas time. What a great idea, but it didn’t originate with me. I am just passing along what I thought was a thoughtful thing to do.  Address the envelope to:
     A Recovering American Soldier
C/O Walter Reed Army Medical Center
    6900 Georgia Avenue, NW
    Washington, DC.
    20307-5001
    Thanks for helping out.
    Regards

    Andy U,
You are welcome. Seems like the right thing to do.
Interesting website you have. I have always like art but I have no talent for it.

Thank you Mike, but I’m also beginning to realize my efforts are reaching the point of diminishing returns :-)I hope you visited the link to our brothers-in-arms website. (For a country that welcomes every ethnic group in the world – including aircraft hijackers and our sworn enemies – we’ve treated our true friends with the utmost distaste.)Cheers,
    Andy

Great idea Mike.   I’d take it a step further.   Look in and around your own communities.   There are many recently-returned Vets, some bear their scars on the outside, but many carry them deep.   reach out and talk to them.   See how you can help them, or just be a good listener.   Just about every major city has either a VA hospital, or a reserve/national guard Armory.   a quick phone call, or visit can make a huge difference on the morale of a soldier returning from combat.   If you attend a church, it’s likely that one or more members have a loved one currently serving, or recently returned…that’s another good avenue.

    Andy,
I missed the link but I will go back and check it out.
Diminishing returns? Looks like you are doing fine. I would guess that as long as you are enjoying it you keep going.
    Regards
