be notified via email.In the Pacific Ocean,there is an average of 1.5 fish per gallon of water.If you looked at any given gallon of water in the Pacific Ocean,what is the probability that there would be exactly 3 fish ??

When you look up r=3,mu=1.5 (check in the poisson table),you may find 0.9344,look up again for r=2 and mu=1.5 in the same table,you find 0.8088,therefor the answer is 0.93440.8088=.1256
which is equal to 12.56%
