    I have recently joined an organisation which is focused on providing Accounting Services to internal customers. The orgn has been running Six Sigma for the last 4-5 years and has been successful to a certain extent in running Six Sigma projects but nothing significant. One of the biggest challenge has been the non-availability / non-existent data which could highlight problem areas.
    I am willing to consider implementing some measuring systems for measuring the processes…
    Can someone share his / her experiences in implementing a good measuring system which help improve the processes?

    Here are the Process Metrics you can utilize for your accounting process
    0. Recipts Cycle Time
    1. Payments Delivery Cycle Time
    2. On Time Receipts
    3. On Time Payments
    4. No. of Accounting Errors
    5. No. of Internal Audit Non – Conformances
    6. No. of Amended Purchase Order
    7. No. of  Bounced Payments
    These are only few primary process metrics to drive it .
