    Greetings,
I’m looking for analysis qualitative data. From 3 subgroups, as ”defect found”, ”type of product” and ”type of packaging”, we’d like to see the relation between them with the use of Minitab.
    Thank you

Patrick:You can’t use ANOVA with qualitative data. In Minitab find cross-tabultion in the “tables” pull-down menu and run a Chi-square test.Cheers, BTDT

Darth:Good point about avoiding numbers. Keeping the data as text should make it unequivocal that the categories are nominal.Cheers, BTDT

You can apply ANOVA only if the qualitative predictors that you have mentioned have the appropriate response quantitative data.

You tried posting this twice and still couldn’t come up with a complete thought at the end.Β  Must be the Friday afternoon brain farts.
